Our Taipei Adventure: A City of Food, Culture, and Surprises
How We Ended Up in Taipei
While relaxing in Phuket, Thailand, we suddenly felt drawn to Taipei. Since we work online, we can stay anywhere as long as the local visa rules allow—and our Thai visa was about to expire. With no set plans, we stumbled upon a fantastic travel video by Erwan Heussaff showcasing Taipei’s vibrant night markets, temples, and city life. Three days later, we were on a flight!
Two Months of Exploration
We spent two wonderful months in Taipei during spring, soaking in the cool air, meeting friendly locals, and drinking way too much bubble tea. Now, we want to share our favorite spots with you!
Quick note: Some photos in this guide are credited to others (used with permission) because switching from an iPhone 7 to an iPhone 10 caused some of our Taipei photos to vanish. Thanks, technology! ðŸ¤
